Training Through Coffee
The coffee shop serves as the heart of the A Latte Opportunities Training and Employment Program. Through structured, hands-on learning, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain practical skills, workplace confidence, and a sense of purpose in a supportive environment.
Instruction in customer service, beverage prep, cash handling, and kitchen safety and sanitation
Ongoing mentorship and real-world experience

Behind the Beans: Youth Learning Experience
Behind the Beans is a hands-on field trip experience for middle and high school Life Skills classes. Students explore what it’s like to work in a coffee shop while learning about inclusion, teamwork, and career possibilities.
Shooting Star Volunteer Program
The Shooting Star Volunteer Program gives individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to serve their community while building confidence, connection, and purpose.
